Chapter 49: Lord Rāmacandra Delivers Ahalyā
Text 1.49.8
अफलस्तु कृतो मेषः परां तुष्टिं प्रदास्यति॥
aphalas tu kṛto meṣaḥ parāṁ tuṣṭiṁ pradāsyati
aphalaḥ tu kṛtaḥ = now made impotent; meṣaḥ = the ram; parām = extreme; tuṣṭim = satisfaction; pradāsyati will bestow.
The ram, now made impotent, will bestow extreme satisfaction.
The pitṛ-devas would not experience any dissatisfaction by giving away the testicles of the ram to Indra. They would be blessed with extreme satisfaction.
