Chapter 51: King Viśvāmitra Arrives at Vasiṣṭha’s Āśrama
Text 1.51.7
अपि कौशिक भद्रं ते गुरुणा मम सङ्गता।
मम माता मुनिश्रेष्ठ रामसन्दर्शनादितः॥
api kauśika bhadraṁ te guruṇā mama saṅgatā
mama mātā muni-śreṣṭha rāma-sandarśanād itaḥ
api = has; kauśika = O Kauśika; bhadram te = auspiciousness unto you; guruṇā mama = with my revered father; saṅgatā = united; mama mātā = my mother; muni-śreṣṭha = best of sages; rāma-sandarśanāt itaḥ = upon seeing this Rāma.
O Kauśika, best of sages, auspiciousness unto you. Has my mother united with my revered father upon seeing this Rāma?
