Chapter 55: King Viśvāmitra Obtains Divine Weapons
Text 1.55.13
केनचित्त्वथ कालेन देवेशो वृषभध्वजः।
दर्शयामास वरदो विश्वामित्रं महामुनिम्॥
kenacit tv atha kālena deveśo vṛṣabhadhvajaḥ
darśayām āsa varado viśvāmitraṁ mahā-munim
kenacit tu atha kālena = after some time; deva-īśaḥ = the Lord of the devas; vṛṣabhadhvajaḥ = Lord Śiva; darśayām āsa = showed himself; varadaḥ = and a granter of benedictions; viśvāmitram = Viśvāmitra; mahā-munim = to the great sage.
After some time, Lord Śiva, the Lord of the devas and a granter of benedictions, showed himself to the great sage Viśvāmitra.
