Chapter 63: Viśvāmitra Falls Prey to Lust
Text 1.63.21
प्राञ्जलिः प्रणतो भूत्वा सर्वलोकपितामहम्।
प्रत्युवच ततो वाचं विश्वामित्रो महामुनिः॥
prāñjaliḥ praṇato bhūtvā sarva-loka-pitāmaham
pratyuvaca tato vācaṁ viśvāmitro mahā-muniḥ
prāñjaliḥ = with his palms joined in supplication and; praṇataḥ bhūtvā = bowing down; sarva-loka-pitāmaham = unto the grandfather of all worlds; pratyuvaca tataḥ = replied to him; vācam = with the following words; viśvāmitraḥ = Viśvāmitra; mahā-muniḥ = the great sage.
With his palms joined in supplication and bowing down unto the grandfather of all worlds, the great sage Viśvāmitra replied to him with the following words.
