Chapter 65: Viśvāmitra Becomes a Brahmarṣi
Text 1.65.28
धन्योऽस्म्यनुगृहीतोऽस्मि यस्य मे मुनिपुङ्गव।
यज्ञं काकुत्स्थसहितः प्राप्तवानसि धार्मिक॥
dhanyo ‘smy anugṛhīto ‘smi yasya me muni-puṅgava
yajñaṁ kākutstha-sahitaḥ prāptavān asi dhārmika
dhanyaḥ asmi = I am fortunate; anugṛhītaḥ asmi = I am blessed; yasya me = my; muni-puṅgava = O best of sages; yajñam = sacrifice; kākutstha-sahitaḥ = with the descendants of Kakutstha; prāptavān asi = that you have come to; dhārmika = O one devoted to dharma.
O best of sages, I am fortunate! O one devoted to dharma, I am blessed that you have come to my sacrifice with the descendants of Kakutstha.
