Chapter 72: Daśaratha’s Charity Before the Wedding
Text 1.72.7
पुत्रा दशरथस्येमे रूपयौवनशालिनः।
लोकपालोपमाः सर्वे देवतुल्यपराक्रमाः॥
putrā daśarathasyeme rūpa-yauvana-śālinaḥ
loka-pālopamāḥ sarve deva-tulya-parākramāḥ
putrāḥ = sons; daśarathasya = of Daśaratha; ime = these; rūpa-yauvana-śālinaḥ = are endowed with beauty and youth; loka-pāla-upamāḥ = resemble the loka-pāla demigods; sarve = all of Them; deva-tulya-parākramāḥ = and are equal to the Supreme Lord in Their prowess.
These sons of Daśaratha are endowed with beauty and youth. All of Them resemble the loka-pāla demigods and are equal to the Supreme Lord in Their prowess.
