Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 3: Daśaratha Informs Rāma About his Decision
Text 2.3.36

तेन विभ्राजता तत्र सा सभाभिव्यरोचत।
विमलग्रहनक्षत्रा शारदी द्यौरिवेन्दुना॥

tena vibhrājatā tatra sā sabhābhivyarocata
vimala-graha-nakṣatrā śāradī dyaur ivendunā

tena = with the; vibhrājatā = luminous Rāma; tatra = there; = the; sabhā = assembly; abhivyarocata = shone; vimala-graha-nakṣatrā = with the spotless planets and stars; śāradī = the autumn; dyauḥ = sky; iva = just as; indunā = [shines] with the moon.

The assembly shone with the luminous Rāma there just as the autumn sky with spotless planets and stars [shines] with the moon.

Since the autumn sky with spotless planets and stars is compared to the assembly with Daśaratha, Vasiṣṭha and so on, it is inferred that Daśaratha, Vasiṣṭha and others also shone to a small extent.
