Canto 2 -
Ayodhyā-kāṇḍa
Chapter 3: Daśaratha Informs Rāma About his Decision
Text 2.3.37

तं पश्यमानो नृपतिस्तुतोष प्रियमात्मजम्।
अलङ्कृतमिवात्मानमादर्शतलसंस्थितम्॥

taṁ paśyamāno nṛpatis tutoṣa priyam ātmajam
alaṅkṛtam ivātmānam ādarśa-tala-saṁsthitam

tam = Rāma; paśyamānaḥ = to notice; nṛpatiḥ = King Daśaratha; tutoṣa = was happy; priyam = that his beloved; ātmajam = son; alaṅkṛtam = decorated; iva = like; ātmānam = himself; ādarśa-tala-saṁsthitam = and reflected on a mirror.

King Daśaratha was happy to notice that his beloved son Rāma was like himself decorated and reflected on a mirror.

From this, it is understood that all parts of Rāma’s body—His face, nose, feet and so on—were similar to those of Daśaratha’s body.
