Chapter 4: Daśaratha’s Anxiety About Coronating Rāma
Text 2.4.8
इति सूतवचः श्रुत्वा रामोऽथ त्वरयान्वितः।
प्रययौ राजभवनं पुनर्द्रष्टुं नरेश्वरम्॥
iti sūta-vacaḥ śrutvā rāmo ’tha tvarayānvitaḥ
prayayau rāja-bhavanaṁ punar draṣṭuṁ nareśvaram
iti sūta-vacaḥ = the charioteer’s words; śrutvā = hearing; rāmaḥ = Rāma; atha = then; tvarayā anvitaḥ = quickly; prayayau = left; rāja-bhavanam = for the king’s palace; punaḥ = again; draṣṭum = to meet; nara-īśvaram = the king.
Hearing the charioteer’s words, Rāma then quickly left for the king’s palace to meet the king again.
