Chapter 6: The Residents of Kosala Prepare to Celebrate Rāma’s Coronation

तेषां पुण्याहघोषोऽथ गम्भीरमधुरस्तदा।
अयोध्यां पूरयामास तूर्यघोषानुनादितः॥
teṣāṁ puṇyāha-ghoṣo ’tha gambhīra-madhuras tadā
ayodhyāṁ pūrayām āsa tūrya-ghoṣānunāditaḥ
teṣām = their; puṇyāha-ghoṣaḥ = puṇyāha-vācana recitation; atha gambhīra-madhuraḥ = grave and sweet; tadā = then; ayodhyām = Ayodhyā; pūrayām āsa = filled; tūrya-ghoṣa-anunāditaḥ = mixed with the sound of musical instruments.
Their grave and sweet puṇyāha-vācana recitation mixed with the sound of musical instruments then filled Ayodhyā.
