Chapter 9: Kaikeyī Convinced by Mantharā
Text 2.9.17
तुष्टेन तेन दत्तौ ते द्वौ वरौ शुभदर्शने॥
tuṣṭena tena dattau te dvau varau śubha-darśane
tuṣṭena = was satisfied [with you]; tena = when he; dattau = he granted; te = you; dvau = two; varau = boons; śubha-darśane = O lady of beautiful appearance.
O lady of beautiful appearance, when he was satisfied [with you], he granted you two boons.
It is implied that because she had protected and cured him twice, he gave her two boons.
