Text 2.9.27
मणिमुक्तं सुवर्णानि रत्नानि विविधानि च।
दद्याद्दशरथो राजा मा स्म तेषु मनः कृथाः॥
maṇi-muktaṁ suvarṇāni ratnāni vividhāni ca
dadyād daśaratho rājā mā sma teṣu manaḥ kṛthāḥ
maṇi-muktam = jewels, pearls; suvarṇāni = of gold; ratnāni = excellent items 3; vividhāni = various; ca = and; dadyāt = might give [you]; daśarathaḥ = Daśaratha; rājā = King; mā sma = never; teṣu = to them; manaḥ = attention; kṛthāḥ = pay.
King Daśaratha might give [you] jewels, pearls and various excellent items of gold. Never pay attention to them.
Mantharā now tells Kaikeyī that she should not accept anything including jewels other than the fulfillment of the two boons.
