यमस्य वा मां विषयं गतामितो निशाम्य कुब्जे प्रतिवेदयिष्यसि।
वनं गते वा सुचिराय राघवे समृद्धकामो भरतो भविष्यति॥
yamasya vā māṁ viṣayaṁ gatām ito
niśāmya kubje prativedayiṣyasi
vanaṁ gate vā sucirāya rāghave
samṛddha-kāmo bharato bhaviṣyati
yamasya = of death; vā = either; mām = me; viṣayam = to the kingdom; gatām = gone; itaḥ = from here; niśāmya = you will see; kubje = O hunchback; prativedayiṣyasi = inform [the king that]; vanam = to the forest; gate = has gone; vā = or; sucirāya = for a long period of time; rāghave = after Rāghava; samṛddha-kāmaḥ = prosperous with enjoyment; bharataḥ = Bharata; bhaviṣyati = will become.
O hunchback, inform [the king that] either you will see me gone from here to the kingdom of death or Bharata will become prosperous with enjoyment after Rāghava has gone to the forest for a long period of time.
