Text 2.14.9

धर्मस्यैवाभिकामार्थं मम चैवाभिचोदनात्।
प्रव्राजय सुतं रामं त्रिः खलु त्वां ब्रवीम्यहम्॥

dharmasyaivābhikāmārthaṁ mama caivābhicodanāt
pravrājaya sutaṁ rāmaṁ triḥ khalu tvāṁ bravīmy aham

dharmasya = for dharma; eva = pure; abhikāma-artham = out of affection; mama = because I, your beloved wife; ca eva = and; abhicodanāt = am requesting you; pravrājaya = banish; sutam = your son; rāmam = Rāma; triḥ khalu = thrice; tvām = you; bravīmi = tell this; aham = I.

“Out of affection for dharma” means “to increase your piety.” She told him this thrice to make him understand that she spoke this with full attention of mind.
