रामं राज्ञो नियोगेन त्वरया प्रस्थितोऽस्म्यहम्।
पूज्या राज्ञो भवन्तस्तु रामस्य च विशेषतः॥
अयं पृच्छामि वचनात्सुखमायुष्मतामहम्।
राज्ञः संप्रतिबुद्धस्य यच्चागमनकारणम्॥
rāmaṁ rājño niyogena tvarayā prasthito ’smy aham
pūjyā rājño bhavantas tu rāmasya ca viśeṣataḥ
ayaṁ pṛcchāmi vacanāt sukham āyuṣmatām aham
rājñaḥ sampratibuddhasya yac cāgamana-kāraṇam
rāmam = to bring Rāma; rājñaḥ = king’s; niyogena = on the order; tvarayā prasthitaḥ asmi aham = I am rushing; pūjyāḥ = are worshippable; rājñaḥ = to the king; bhavantaḥ tu = you; rāmasya = to Rāma; ca = and; viśeṣataḥ = especially; ayam = the; pṛcchāmi = will inquire; vacanāt = on the request; sukham = welfare; āyuṣmatām = of all of you long-living kings; aham = I; rājñaḥ = about the king’s; sampratibuddhasya = for the king, who has [already] woken up; yat ca = and the; agamana-kāraṇam = the reason for not coming [here].
On the king’s order, I am rushing to bring Rāma. You are worshippable to the king and especially to Rāma. On the request of all of you long-living kings, I will happily inquire about the king’s welfare and the reason for the king, who has [already] woken up, for not coming [here].
