Chapter 15: Daśaratha Personally Instructs Sumantra to Bring Rāma
Text 2.15.20
तुष्टावास्य तदा वंशं प्रविश्य स विशां पतेः।
शयनीयं नरेन्द्रस्य तदासाद्य व्यतिष्ठत॥
tuṣṭāvāsya tadā vaṁśaṁ praviśya sa viśāṁ pateḥ
śayanīyaṁ narendrasya tadāsādya vyatiṣṭhata
tuṣṭāva = and praised; asya = the; tadā vaṁśam = dynasty; praviśya = having entered the residence; saḥ = he; viśām = of the vaiśyas; pateḥ = the lord; śayanīyam = the bedroom; nara-indrasya = king’s; tadā āsādya = reached; vyatiṣṭhata = stood there.
Having entered the residence, he reached the bedroom of the lord of the vaiśyas, stood there and praised the king’s dynasty.
