स वाजियुक्तेन रथेन सारथिर्नराकुलं राजकुलं विलोकयन्।
वरूथिना रामगृहाभिपातिना पुरस्य सर्वस्य मनांसि रञ्जयत्॥

narākulaṁ rāja-kulaṁ vilokayan
varūthinā rāma-gṛhābhipātinā
purasya sarvasya manāṁsi rañjayat
saḥ = the; vāji-yuktena = horse-driven; rathena = chariot; sārathiḥ = charioteer Sumantra; nara-ākulam = amidst the crowd of [common] men; rāja-kulam = the kings; vilokayan = noticing; varūthinā = on his armored 8; rāma-gṛha-abhipātinā = by driving to Rāma’s house; purasya = in the city; sarvasya = of all; manāṁsi = the minds; rañjayat = pleased.
Noticing the kings amidst the crowd of [common] men, the charioteer Sumantra pleased the minds of all in the city while driving on his armored horse-driven chariot to Rāma’s house.
