Chapter 15: Daśaratha Personally Instructs Sumantra to Bring Rāma
Text 2.15.44

स तत्र कैलासनिभाः स्वलङ्कृताः प्रविश्य कक्ष्यास्त्रिदशालयोपमाः।
प्रियान्नरान्राममते स्थितान्बहूनपोद्य शुद्धान्तमुपस्थितो रथी॥

sa tatra kailāsa-nibhāḥ svalaṅkṛtāḥ
praviśya kakṣyās tridaśālayopamāḥ
priyān narān rāma-mate sthitān bahūn
apohya śuddhāntam upasthito rathī

saḥ = the; tatra = there; kailāsa-nibhāḥ = resembling Kailāsa; svalaṅkṛtāḥ = the well decorated; praviśya = entered; kakṣyāḥ = gates; tridaśa-ālaya-upamāḥ = and equal to the residences of the devas; priyān = and dear [to Him]; narān = men; rāma-mate = to Rāma; sthitān = obedient; bahūn = many; apohya = passed over and then; śuddha-antam = His inner quarters; upasthitaḥ = reached; rathī = charioteer.

The charioteer entered the well decorated gates there resembling Kailāsa and equal to the residences of the devas, passed over many men obedient to Rāma and dear [to Him] and then reached His inner quarters.
