rāmasya ramyaṁ mṛga-pakṣi-juṣṭam
dadarśa meror iva śṛṅgam uccaṁ
vibhrājamānaṁ prabhayā sumantraḥ

mahā-indra-sadma-pratimam tu = it was equal to the great Indra’s house; veśma = house; rāmasya = Rāma’s; ramyam = pleasant; mṛga-pakṣi-juṣṭam = it was filled with deer and birds; dadarśa = then saw; meroḥ = of Meru; iva = like; śṛṅgam = peak; uccam = the topmost; vibhrājamānam = it shone; prabhayā = with its effulgence; sumantraḥ = Sumangra.

Sumantra then saw Rāma’s pleasant house. It was equal to the great Indra’s house. It was filled with deer and birds. With its effulgence, it shone like the topmost peak of Meru.
