Chapter 24: Rāma Instructs Kausalyā
Text 2.24.35
कृतान्तस्य गतिः पुत्र दुर्विभाव्या सदा भुवि।
यस्त्वां सञ्चोदयति मे वच आच्छिद्य राघव॥
kṛtāntasya gatiḥ putra durvibhāvyā sadā bhuvi
yas tvāṁ sañcodayati me vaca ācchidya rāghava
kṛtāntasya = of providence; gatiḥ = the acts; putra = My son; durvibhāvyā = inconceivable; sadā = are always; bhuvi = in this world; yaḥ = which; tvām = You; sañcodayati = and prompt [to go to the forest]; me = my; vacaḥ = instructions [to You]; ācchidya = undo; rāghava = Rāghava.
My son Rāghava, the acts of providence which undo my instructions [to You] and prompt You [to go to the forest] are always inconceivable in this world.
