Chapter 26: Rāma Meets Sītā and Instructs Her
Text 2.26.19
इतीव विलपन्तीं तां प्रोवाच रघुनन्दनः।
सीते तत्रभवांस्तातः प्रव्राजयति मां वनम्॥
itīva vilapantīṁ tāṁ provāca raghu-nandanaḥ
sīte tatra-bhavāṁs tātaḥ pravrājayati māṁ vanam
iti iva = about all of this; vilapantīm = who had thus asked Him; tām = Sītā; provāca = then told; raghu-nandanaḥ = the beloved child of the Raghus; sīte = Sītā; tatra-bhavān = worshipable 2; tātaḥ = My father; pravrājayati = has exiled; mām = Me; vanam = to the forest.
The beloved child of the Raghus then told Sītā who had thus asked Him about all of this: Sītā, My worshipable father has exiled Me to the forest.
