Chapter 26: Rāma Meets Sītā and Instructs Her
Text 2.26.30
काल्यमुत्थाय देवानां कृत्वा पूजां यथाविधि।
वन्दितव्यो दशरथः पिता मम नरेश्वरः॥
kālyam utthāya devānāṁ kṛtvā pūjāṁ yathā-vidhi
vanditavyo daśarathaḥ pitā mama nareśvaraḥ
kālyam = early in the morning 4; utthāya = waking up; devānām = the devas; kṛtvā pūjām = after worshiping; yathā-vidhi = according to the scriptural regulations; vanditavyaḥ = you should honor; daśarathaḥ = Daśaratha; pitā = father; mama = My; nara-īśvaraḥ = King.
Waking up early in the morning, after worshiping the devas according to the scriptural regulations, you should honor My father King Daśaratha.
