Chapter 31: Rāma Allows Lakṣmaṇa to Follow Him to the Forest
Text 2.31.33
तद्दिव्यं राजशार्दूलसत्कृतं माल्यभूषितम्।
रामाय दर्शयामास सौमित्रिः सर्वमायुधम्॥
tad divyaṁ rāja-śārdūla-satkṛtaṁ mālya-bhūṣitam
rāmāya darśayām āsa saumitriḥ sarvam āyudham
tat = the; divyam = divine; rāja-śārdūla-satkṛtam = they had been honored by the emperor; mālya-bhūṣitam = and ornamented with garlands; rāmāya = Rāma; darśayām āsa = showed; saumitriḥ = Sumitrā’s son; sarvam = all; āyudham = weapons.
Sumitrā’s son showed Rāma all the divine weapons—they had been honored by the emperor and ornamented with garlands.
