Chapter 32: Rāma Gives Away His Wealth Before Departing
Text 2.32.3
ततः सन्ध्यामुपास्याशु गत्वा सौमित्रिणा सह। जुष्टं तत्प्राविशल्लक्ष्म्या रम्यं रामनिवेशनम्॥
tataḥ sandhyām upāsyāśu gatvā saumitriṇā saha juṣṭaṁ tat prāviśal lakṣmyā ramyaṁ rāma-niveśanam
tataḥ sandhyām upāsya = after completing his sandhyā-vandana prayers for the afternoon; āśu = quickly; gatvā = he accompanied and; saumitriṇā saha = Sumitrā’s son; juṣṭam = was filled; tat = that; prāviśat = entered; lakṣmyā = with prosperity; ramyam = the delightful; rāma-niveśanam = abode of Rāma.
After completing his sandhyā-vandana prayers for the afternoon, he quickly accompanied Sumitrā’s son and entered the delightful abode of Rāma that was filled with prosperity.
