Chapter 32: Rāma Gives Away His Wealth Before Departing
Text 2.32.17

सूतश्चित्ररथश्चार्यः सचिवः सुचिरोषितः। तोषयैनं महार्हैश्च रत्नैर्वस्त्रैर्धनैस्तथा। पशुकाभिश्च सर्वाभिर्गवां दशशतेन च॥

sūtaś citrarathaś cāryaḥ sacivaḥ suciroṣitaḥ toṣayainaṁ mahārhaiś ca ratnair vastrair dhanais tathā paśukābhiś ca sarvābhir gavāṁ daśa-śatena ca

sūtaḥ = charioteer; citrarathaḥ = named Citraratha; ca = and; āryaḥ = there is a noble; sacivaḥ = assistant; sucira-uṣitaḥ = in our house for a very long time; toṣaya = satisfy; enam = him; mahā-arhaiḥ ca = with precious; ratnaiḥ = jewels; vastraiḥ = clothes; dhanaiḥ tathā = wealth; paśukābhiḥ ca = [sacrificial] animals; sarvābhiḥ = of all kinds; gavām = cows; daśa-śatena = a thousand; ca = and.

There is a noble charioteer and assistant in our house for a very long time named Citraratha. Satisfy him with precious jewels, clothes, wealth, [sacrificial] animals of all kinds and a thousand cows.

He was a charioteer like Sumantra. The [sacrificial] animals are goats and so on.
