Chapter 36: Kaikeyī Forbids the King from Sending Wealth With Rāma

यजन्पुण्येषु देशेषु विसृजंश्चाप्तदक्षिणाः।
ऋषिभिश्च समागम्य प्रवत्स्यति सुखं वने॥
yajan puṇyeṣu deśeṣu visṛjaṁś cāpta-dakṣiṇāḥ
ṛṣibhiś ca samāgamya pravatsyati sukhaṁ vane
yajan = performing sacrifices; puṇyeṣu = in pious; deśeṣu = lands; visṛjan ca = distributing; āpta-dakṣiṇāḥ = proper gifts during those sacrifices; ṛṣibhiḥ = with the sages; ca = and; samāgamya = associating; pravatsyati = He will reside; sukham = happily; vane = in the forest.
Performing sacrifices in pious lands, distributing proper gifts during those sacrifices and associating with the sages, He will happily reside in the forest.
