Chapter 39: Kausalyā Instructs Sītā
Text 2.39.16
नरेन्द्रेणैवमुक्तस्तु गत्वा कोशगृहं ततः।
प्रायच्छत्सर्वमाहत्य सीतायै सममेव तत्॥
narendreṇaivam uktas tu gatvā kośa-gṛhaṁ tataḥ
prāyacchat sarvam āhṛtya sītāyai samam eva tat
narendreṇa = when the king; evam = thus; uktaḥ tu = spoke; gatvā = the treasurer went; kośa-gṛham = to the treasury; tataḥ prāyacchat = gave; sarvam = all of them; āhṛtya = brought and; sītāyai = to Sītā-devī; samam eva = immediately; tat = them.
When the king spoke thus, the treasurer went to the treasury, brought all of them and gave them to Sītā-devī immediately.
