Text 2.43.21

अयं हि मां दीपयते समुत्थितस्तनूजशोकप्रभवो हुताशनः।
महीमिमां रश्मिभिरुद्धतप्रभो यथा निदाघे भगवान्दिवाकरः॥

ayaṁ hi māṁ dīpayate samutthitas
tanūja-śoka-prabhavo hutāśanaḥ
mahīm imāṁ raśmibhir uddhata-prabho
yathā nidāghe bhagavān divākaraḥ

ayam hi = the; mām = me; dīpayate = burning; samutthitaḥ = has arisen; tanūja-śoka-prabhavaḥ = born of my sorrow for my son; huta-aśanaḥ = fire; mahīm = land; imām = this; raśmibhiḥ = with its rays; uddhata-prabhaḥ = of fierce rays [scorching]; yathā = like; nidāghe = during summer; bhagavān = the powerful; divākaraḥ = sun.

Like the powerful sun of fierce rays [scorching] this land during summer, the fire born of my sorrow for my son has arisen, burning me with its rays.
