Chapter 44: Sumitrā Consoles Kausalyā
Text 2.44.23
पुनः प्रविष्टं दृष्ट्वा तमभिषिक्तं महाश्रियम्।
समुत्स्रक्ष्यसि नेत्राभ्यां क्षिप्रमानन्दजं पयः॥
punaḥ praviṣṭaṁ dṛṣṭvā tam abhiṣiktaṁ mahā-śriyam
samutsrakṣyasi netrābhyāṁ kṣipram ānandajaṁ payaḥ
punaḥ praviṣṭam = re-enter [the city]; dṛṣṭvā = seeing; tam = Him; abhiṣiktam = [and] coronated; mahā-śriyam = with great prosperity; samutsrakṣyasi = you will shed; netrābhyām = from your eyes; kṣipram = quickly; ānandajam = of joy; payaḥ = tears.
Seeing Him re-enter [the city and] coronated with great prosperity, you will quickly shed tears of joy from your eyes.
