Chapter 46: Rāma Leaves the Brāhmaṇas to go to the Forest

अब्रवील्लक्ष्मणो रामं साक्षाद्धर्ममिव स्थितम्।
रोचते मे तथा प्राज्ञ क्षिप्रमारुह्यतामिति॥
abravīl lakṣmaṇo rāmaṁ sākṣād dharmam iva sthitam
rocate me tathā prājña kṣipram āruhyatām iti
abravīt = told; lakṣmaṇaḥ = Lakṣmaṇa; rāmam = Rāma; sākṣāt = himself; dharmam = Dharma; iva = like; sthitam = who stood; rocate me = I like it; tathā = so; prājña = O intelligent one; kṣipram = quickly; āruhyatām iti = get on [the chariot].
Lakṣmaṇa told Rāma who stood like Dharma himself: “O intelligent one, I like it. So quickly get on [the chariot].”
