Chapter 46: Rāma Leaves the Brāhmaṇas to go to the Forest
Text 2.46.25

अथ रामोऽब्रवीच्छीमान्सुमत्रं युज्यतां रथः।
गमिष्यामि ततोऽरण्यं गच्छ शीघ्रमितः प्रभो॥

atha rāmo ’bravīc chrīmān sumantraṁ yujyatāṁ rathaḥ
gamiṣyāmi tato ’raṇyaṁ gaccha śīghram itaḥ prabho

atha = then; rāmaḥ = Rāma; abravīt = told; śrīmān = the handsome; sumantram = Sumantra; yujyatām = and arrange; rathaḥ = the chariot; gamiṣyāmi = I will go; tataḥ = then; araṇyam = to the forest; gaccha = go; śīghram = quickly; itaḥ = from here; prabho = O capable one.

Then the handsome Rāma told Sumantra: “O capable one, quickly go and arrange the chariot. I will then go from here to the forest.”
