Chapter 46: Rāma Leaves the Brāhmaṇas to go to the Forest
Text 2.46.27

अयं युक्तो महाबाहो रथस्ते रथिनां वर।
तमारोह सुभद्रं ते ससीतः सहलक्ष्मणः॥

ayaṁ yukto mahā-bāho rathas te rathināṁ vara
tam āroha subhadraṁ te sasītaḥ saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ

ayam = this; yuktaḥ = ready; mahā-bāho = O mighty-armed; rathaḥ = chariot; te = of Yours; rathinām = of chariot-fighters; vara = O best; tam = on it; āroha = please get; subhadram te = may there be excellent auspiciousness unto You; sasītaḥ = with Sītā; saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ = and Lakṣmaṇa.

O mighty-armed, O best of chariot-fighters, this chariot of Yours is ready. Please get on it with Sītā and Lakṣmaṇa. May there be excellent auspiciousness unto You!
