Chapter 46: Rāma Leaves the Brāhmaṇas to go to the Forest
Text 2.46.32

रामस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा तथा चक्रे स सारथिः।
प्रत्यागम्य च रामस्य स्यन्दनं प्रत्यवेदयत्॥

rāmasya vacanaṁ śrutvā tathā cakre sa sārathiḥ
pratyāgamya ca rāmasya syandanaṁ pratyavedayat

rāmasya = Rāma’s; vacanam = words; śrutvā = upon hearing; tathā cakre = did so; saḥ = he; sārathiḥ = the charioteer; pratyāgamya ca = having returned through another route; rāmasya = to Rāma; syandanam = the chariot; pratyavedayat = brought.

Upon hearing Rāma’s words, the charioteer did so. Having returned through another route, he brought the chariot to Rāma.
