Chapter 48: The Ladies in Ayodhyā Lament
Text 2.48.12
विचित्रकुसुमापीडा बहुमञ्जरिधारिणः।
राघवं दर्शयिष्यन्ति नगा भ्रमरशालिनः॥
vicitra-kusumāpīḍā bahu-mañjaridhāriṇaḥ
rāghavaṁ darśayiṣyanti nagā bhramaraśālinaḥ
vicitra-kusuma-āpīḍāḥ = decorated with a variety of flowers on their heads; bahu-mañjaridhāriṇaḥ = holding many clusters of flowers; rāghavam = to Rāghava; darśayiṣyanti = will show themselves; nagāḥ = the trees; bhramaraśālinaḥ = and sheltering bumble bees.
“The trees decorated with a variety of flowers on their heads, holding many clusters of flowers and sheltering bumble bees will show themselves to Rāghava [to please Him].
