Chapter 48: The Ladies in Ayodhyā Lament
Text 2.48.14
प्रस्रविष्यन्ति तोयानि विमलानि महीधराः।
विदर्शयन्तो विविधान्भूयश्चित्रांश्च निर्झरान्।
पादपाः पर्वताग्रेषु रमयिष्यन्ति राघवम्॥
prasraviṣyanti toyāni vimalāni mahīdharāḥ
vidarśayanto vividhān bhūyaś citrāṁś ca nirjharān
pādapāḥ parvatāgreṣu ramayiṣyanti rāghavam
prasraviṣyanti = will discharge; toyāni = water; vimalāni = spotless; mahīdharāḥ = the mountains; vidarśayantaḥ = displaying; vividhān = several; bhūyaḥ = more; citrān ca = wonderful; nirjharān = waterfalls; pādapāḥ = the trees; parvata-agreṣu = on top of the mountains; ramayiṣyanti = will delight; rāghavam = Rāghava.
“Displaying several more wonderful waterfalls, the mountains will discharge spotless water. The trees on top of the mountains will delight Rāghava.
