Chapter 50: The Meeting of Rāma and Guha

तेऽभिवाद्य महात्मानं कृत्वा चापि प्रदक्षिणम्।
विलपन्तो नरा घोरं व्यतिष्ठन्त क्वचित्क्वचित्॥
te ’bhivādya mahātmānaṁ kṛtvā cāpi pradakṣiṇam
vilapanto narā ghoraṁ vyatiṣṭhanta kvacit kvacit
te = the; abhivādya = offered obeisances; mahā-ātmānam = that great soul; kṛtvā1 ca api = and; pradakṣiṇam = circumambulated Him; vilapantaḥ = while lamenting; narāḥ = men; ghoram = terribly; vyatiṣṭhanta = they then stood; kvacit kvacit = here and there.
The men offered that great soul obeisances and circumambulated Him. They then stood here and there while lamenting terribly.1
They stood here and there; they did not quickly go away out of a desire to [continue to] see Rāma.
