Chapter 50: The Meeting of Rāma and Guha
Text 2.50.7
तथा विलपतां तेषामतृप्तानां च राघवः।
अचक्षुर्विषयं प्रायाद्यथार्कः क्षणदामुखे॥
tathā vilapatāṁ teṣām atṛptānāṁ ca rāghavaḥ
acakṣur-viṣayaṁ prāyād yathārkaḥ kṣaṇadā-mukhe
tathā vilapatām = despite lamentation; teṣām = their; atṛptānām = dissatifaction; ca = and; rāghavaḥ = Rāghava; acakṣuḥ-viṣayam = their range of sight; prāyāt = left; yathā = just as; arkaḥ = the sun; kṣaṇadā-mukhe = [leaves] before night arrives.
Despite their lamentation and dissatisfaction, Rāghava left their range of sight just as the sun [leaves] before night arrives.
