Text 2.50.13
आश्रमैरविदूरस्थैः श्रीमद्भिः समलङ्कृताम्।
कालेऽप्सरोभिर्हष्टाभिः सेविताम्भोह्रदां शिवाम्॥
āśramair avidūrasthaiḥ śrīmadbhiḥ samalaṅkṛtām
kāle ’psarobhir hṛṣṭābhiḥ sevitāmbho-hradāṁ śivām
āśramaiḥ = with āśramas; avidūrasthaiḥ = and not far from her; śrīmadbhiḥ = that were rich in piety; samalaṅkṛtām = Gaṅgā was fully decorated; kāle = at times; apsarobhiḥ = apsarās; hṛṣṭābhiḥ = delighted; sevita-ambhas-hradām = came to her water pools; śivām = and yet she was auspicious.
Gaṅgā was fully decorated with āśramas that were rich in piety and not far from her. Delighted apsarās came to her water pools at times and yet she was auspicious.
“At times” indicates that the apsarās reached the Gaṅgā at the time of sporting or at appropriate times.
