जलाघाताट्टहासोग्रां फेननिर्मलहासिनीम्।
क्वचिद्वेणीकृतजलां क्वचिदावर्तशोभिताम्॥
jalāghātāṭṭa-hāsogrāṁ phena-nirmala-hāsinīm
kvacid veṇī-kṛta-jalāṁ kvacid āvarta-śobhitām
jala-āghāta-aṭṭa-hāsa-ugrām = the splashing of the water on the rocks resembled her terrible and loud laughter; phena-nirmala-hāsinīm = the foam resembled her spotless mile; kvacit = in some places; veṇī-kṛta-jalām = the water seemed to have taken the shape of her braid; kvacit = in some other places; āvarta-śobhitām = her whirlpools decorated her.
