Chapter 50: The Meeting of Rāma and Guha
Text 2.50.22

दिशागजैर्वनगजैर्मत्तैश्च वरवारणैः।
देवोपवाह्यैश्च मुहुः सन्नादितवनान्तराम्॥

diśā-gajair vana-gajair mattaiś ca vara-vāraṇaiḥ
devopavāhyaiś ca muhuḥ sannādita-vanāntarām

diśā-gajaiḥ = of the elephants presiding over the eight directions; vana-gajaiḥ = forest elephants; mattaiḥ ca = intoxicated; vara-vāraṇaiḥ = royal elephants; deva-upavāhyaiḥ = elephants used as vehicles by the devas; ca = and; muhuḥ = repeatedly; sannādita-vana-antarām = the forests near her were filled with the sounds.

The forests near her were repeatedly filled with the sounds of the elephants presiding over the eight directions, forest elephants, intoxicated royal elephants and elephants used as vehicles by the devas.
