Chapter 50: The Meeting of Rāma and Guha
Text 2.50.30

रामोऽभियाय तं रम्यं वृक्षमिक्ष्वाकुनन्दनः।
रथादवातरत्तस्मात्सभार्यः सहलक्ष्मणः॥

rāmo ’bhiyāya taṁ ramyaṁ vṛkṣam ikṣvāku-nandanaḥ
rathād avātarat tasmāt sabhāryaḥ saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ

rāmaḥ = Rāma; abhiyāya = having reached; tam = that; ramyam = pleasant; vṛkṣam = tree; ikṣvāku-nandanaḥ = the beloved of Ikṣvākus; rathāt = chariot; avātarat = got down; tasmāt = from the; sabhāryaḥ = with His wife; saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ = and Lakṣmaṇa.

Having reached that pleasant tree, the beloved of the Ikṣvākus, Rāma got down from the chariot with His wife and Lakṣmaṇa.
