Chapter 52: Rāma Crosses the Gaṅgā on Guha’s Boat
Text 2.52.69
दीर्घबाहुर्नरव्याघ्रो जटिलत्वमधारयत्॥
dīrgha-bāhur nara-vyāghro jaṭilatvam adhārayat
dīrgha-bāhuḥ = the long-armed; nara-vyāghraḥ = prince; jaṭilatvam adhārayat = [thus] knotted His hair.
The long-armed prince [thus] knotted His hair.
Sage Vālmīki laments here [about Lord Rāma’s knotting His hair].
