Text 2.52.72

अप्रमत्तो बले कोशे दुर्गे जनपदे तथा।
भवेथा गुह राज्यं हि दुरारक्षतमं मतम्॥

apramatto bale kośe durge jana-pade tathā
bhavethā guha rājyaṁ hi durārakṣatamaṁ matam

apramattaḥ = not inattentive; bale = to your armed forces; kośe = treasury 5; durge = fort; jana-pade = country; tathā = and; bhavethāḥ = do be; guha = Guha; rājyam = a kingdom; hi =  because; durārakṣatamam = very difficult to protect and maintain; matam = is considered to be.

Guha, do not be inattentive to your armed forces, treasury, fort and country because a kingdom is considered to be very difficult to protect and maintain.

Durārakṣatamam indicates that it is possible to protect and maintain a kingdom completely [but] with extreme difficulty.
