Chapter 52: Rāma Crosses the Gaṅgā on Guha’s Boat

ततस्तं समनुज्ञाय गुहमिक्ष्वाकुनन्दनः।
जगाम तूर्णमव्यग्रः सभार्यः सहलक्ष्मणः॥
tatas taṁ samanujñāya guham ikṣvāku-nandanaḥ
jagāma tūrṇam avyagraḥ sabhāryaḥ saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ
tataḥ = then; tam1 samanujñāya = took leave of and; guham = Guha; ikṣvāku-nandanaḥ = beloved descendant of Ikṣvāku; jagāma = left; tūrṇam = quickly; avyagraḥ = the undisturbed; sabhāryaḥ = with His wife; saha-lakṣmaṇaḥ = and Lakṣmaṇa.
The undisturbed beloved descendant of Ikṣvāku then took leave of Guha and quickly left with His wife and Lakṣmaṇa.
