Chapter 54: Rāmacandra Meets Bharadvāja Ṛṣi
Text 2.54.18
नानाविधानन्नरसान्वन्यमूलफलाश्रयान्।
तेभ्यो ददौ तप्ततपा वासं चैवाभ्यकल्पयत्॥
nānā-vidhān anna-rasān vanya-mūla-phalāśrayān
tebhyo dadau tapta-tapā vāsaṁ caivābhyakalpayat
nānā-vidhān = of various kinds; anna-rasān = delicious juices; vanya-mūla-phala-āśrayān = based on roots and fruits from the forest; tebhyaḥ = them; dadau = gave; tapta-tapāḥ = that ascetic of austerities; vāsam = for a place for them to stay; ca eva = and; abhyakalpayat = arranged.
That ascetic of austerities gave them delicious juices of various kinds based on roots and fruits from the forest, and arranged for a place for them to stay.
