Chapter 54: Rāmacandra Meets Bharadvāja Ṛṣi
Text 2.54.34
तस्य प्रयागे रामस्य तं महर्षिमुपेयुषः।
प्रपन्ना रजनी पुण्या चित्राः कथयतः कथाः॥
tasya prayāge rāmasya taṁ maha-rṣim upeyuṣaḥ
prapannā rajanī puṇyā citrāḥ kathayataḥ kathāḥ
tasya prayāge = in Prayāga; rāmasya = while Rāma; tam mahā-ṛṣim = the great sage; upeyuṣaḥ = after meeting; prapannā = had [already] set in; rajanī = night; puṇyā = the auspicious; citrāḥ = about various interesting; kathayataḥ = spoke; kathāḥ = topics.
While Rāma spoke about various interesting topics after meeting the great sage in Prayāga, the auspicious night had [already] set in.
