रात्र्यां तु तस्यां व्युष्टायां भरद्वाजोऽब्रवीदिदम्।
मधुमूलफलोपेतं चित्रकूटं व्रजेति ह।
वासमौपयिकं मन्ये तव राम महाबल॥
rātryāṁ tu tasyāṁ vyuṣṭāyāṁ bharadvājo ’bravīd idam
madhu-mūla-phalopetaṁ citrakūṭaṁ vrajeti ha
vāsam aupayikaṁ manye tava rāma mahā-bala
rātryām tu tasyām vyuṣṭāyām = after the night has passed; bharadvājaḥ = Bharadvāja; abravīt = spoke; idam = these words; madhu-mūla-phala-upetam = that has honey, roots and fruits; citrakūṭam = Citrakūṭa; vraja iti ha = go to; vāsam = that place; aupayikam = is appropriate 2; manye = I think that; tava = for You; rāma = Rāma; mahā-bala = mighty-armed.
After the night had passed, Bharadvāja spoke these words: Go to Citrakūṭa that has honey, roots and fruits. Mighty-armed Rāma, I think that that place is appropriate for You.
