Chapter 54: Rāmacandra Meets Bharadvāja Ṛṣi
Text 2.54.39-40

नानानगगणोपेतः किंनरोरगसेवितः।
मयूरनादाभिरुतो गजराजनिषेवितः॥

गम्यतां भवता शैलश्चित्रकूटः स विश्रुतः।
पुण्यश्च रमणीयश्च बहुमूलफलायुतः॥

nānā-naga-gaṇopetaḥ kinnaroraga-sevitaḥ
mayūra-nādābhiruto gaja-rāja-niṣevitaḥ

gamyatāṁ bhavatā śailaś citrakūṭaḥ sa viśrutaḥ
puṇyaś ca ramaṇīyaś ca bahu-mūla-phalāyutaḥ

nānā-naga-gaṇa-upetaḥ = it is filled with varieties of trees; kinnara-uraga-sevitaḥ = it is resorted to by kinnaras and snakes; mayūra-nāda-abhirutaḥ = it is filled with the sounds of peacocks; gaja-rāja-niṣevitaḥ = kings of elephants live there; gamyatām bhavatā = go there; śailaḥ = the mountain; citrakūṭaḥ = of Citrakūṭa; saḥ = it is; viśrutaḥ = is famous; puṇyaḥ ca = pious; ramaṇīyaḥ = pleasant; ca = and; bahu-mūla-phala-āyutaḥ = endowed with several roots and fruits.

The mountain Citrakūṭa is famous. It is filled with varieties of trees. It is resorted to by kinnaras and snakes. It is filled with the sounds of peacocks. Kings of elephants live there. It is pious, pleasant and endowed with several roots and fruits. Go there!
