विहृत्य ते बर्हिणपूगनादिते शुभे वने वानरवारणायुते।
समं नदीवप्रमुपेत्य संमतं निवासमाजग्मुरदीनदर्शनाः॥
vihṛtya te barhiṇa-pūga-nādite
śubhe vane vānara-vāraṇāyute
samaṁ nadī-vapram upetya sammataṁ
nivāsam ājagmur adīna-darśanāḥ
vihṛtya = having sported; te = those persons; barhiṇa-pūga-nādite = that was filled with the sounds of birds; śubhe = in the auspicious; vane = forest; vānara-vāraṇa-āyute = and filled with monkeys and elephants; samam = the smooth; nadī-vapram = bank of the river; upetya = reached; sammatam = to an acceptable; nivāsam = place; ājagmuḥ = and then went; adīna-darśanāḥ = of noble vision.
Having sported in the auspicious forest that was filled with the sounds of birds and filled with monkeys and elephants, those persons of noble vision reached the smooth bank of the river and then went to an acceptable place.1
