ādīptān iva vaidehi sarvataḥ puṣpitān nagān
svaiḥ puṣpaiḥ kiṁśukān paśya mālinaḥ śiśirātyaye
ādīptān iva = they appear to be radiant; vaidehi = Vaidehī; sarvataḥ = all over here; puṣpitān = with flowers; nagān = trees; svaiḥ puṣpaiḥ = of flowers; kiṁśukān = look at the kiṁśuka; paśya = look at; mālinaḥ = and seem to possess a garland; śiśira-atyaye = at the end of autumn.
Vaidehī, look at the kiṁśuka trees all over here. They appear to be radiant with flowers and seem to possess a garland of flowers at the end of autumn.
“At the end of autumn” means “at spring.”
